At your office too, you can keep your calories burning by opting to walk up to your colleagues instead of using phones, use stairs instead of lift and elevators and so on. Burning calories are not limited to walking, it also includes cycling, lifting weight, cooking and gardening.

Drinking

Your metabolism always remains active if the body is hydrated. Whenever, the body is dehydrated, the essential organs of the body work at lower pace which decreases the rate of metabolism. So, it will be a better idea to have proper intake of water. Therefore, if you want to keep your body hydrated and want it to function in a proper manner, make it a goal to drink at least 8-10 glasses of water in a day.  If you are doing exercises, then definitely the water intake will increase.

Caffeine consumption

In spite of negative effects of caffeine such as insomnia, upset stomach, people prefer to take caffeine for boosting their metabolism. But they should keep in mind that its consumption should be limited. Not more than 40nmg of caffeine should be taken on regular basis for increasing the rate of consumption.

Spices not only add flavor to your food and make it tasty, but also help in reducing weight loss . Do you know that Capsaicin which is a compound present in chilli pepper is responsible for burning more calories in the body which will help you in achieving the aim of weight loss.

Fiber keeps you feel full, hence it stops your regular craving for food. So make sure to increase fiber foods in your diet.
